Reduce Camera Shake with a Bag of Lentils [DIY]

Reduce Camera Shake with a Bag of LentilsCamera shake is hard to avoid in certain shooting scenarios?for example, if you're shooting garden flowers or a squirrel down at eye level. If you don't have a tripod for macro shots, you can make your own camera stabilizer with an old pair of jeans and lentils.

This DIY solution from Digital Camera World is pretty easy to make, as long as you can sew or have a sewing machine. Cut out the midsection of a pair of jeans, fill it with the lentils, and sew. Voila!?a beanbag to support your camera.

You could, of course, just buy a beanbag, but this is an inexpensive option. The beanbag's "V" shape provides a stable place to support a long lens. And you can hang the "V" shape over a car door or railing as well.
