A pair of high school sweethearts whose lives have been torn apart by cancer have married at a stunning service paid for by the kindness of others.
Nolan Keane, 28, from Kewanee, Illinois, has been given months to live after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer.
His dying wish was to marry Morgan Carstens, 26, his long-term girlfriend - who has given up work to care for him - and to take her to Disney World for their honeymoon.
The big day: Nolan Keane and Morgen Carstens got married on March 9. He has brain cancer and was told he only had months to live last year
In sickness and in health: Morgan Carstens, 26, has cared for his high school sweetheart since his diagnosis. She gave up her work as a nurse to care for him
And when Carstens' sisters shared their story on a fundraising page the couple were given $60,000 from people around the globe and a group of wedding companies came forward offering everything they needed to be married.
'It started with flowers and friends donating some food,' Carstens told ABC News, 'and then a wedding planner donated her time to get things together. It's been an outpouring from the community. They've made this whole day possible for us.'
?
The couple have now released photographs of their big day which went ahead on March 9 as a thank you to all those who made it possible.
They plan to take their dream Disney trip at the end of the month.
Carstens added: 'We have been only asking for support, encouragement and prayers, so when all of this blew up we all had every single emotion as possible about it. It's inspiring to see so many good-hearted and caring people out there.
Thank you: The couple are grateful to the hundreds of kind people who delivered their wedding day for free and donated $60,000 to their dream Disney World honeymoon they are taking at the end of the month
Icing on the cake: The couple have been able to use much of the money donated to pay for the huge medical bills run up through Nolan's treatment
'We were kind of in shock. We'll sit up and we'll read [the comments], and sometimes we'll cry and smile. We are blessed.'
'We have wanted to do this for a long time and we've talked about it for a really long time,' she said of the wedding. 'It's amazing that we get to see our friends and family and be together.'
The Disney World plan was inspired by Keane's proposal.
The pair were on holiday with his family in the Florida theme park last year when he proposed in front of a firework display.
'I wanted to take Morgan back to Disney with my family,' he told the Chicago Sun Times. 'I'm a little kid at heart. It's always been a special place for me, good memories. And I know it will leave a good memory for all of us.'
The couple, who have been together since they were introduced by mutual friends while attending rival southern Illinois high schools, weren't sure what kind of wedding or honeymoon they'd have after being weighed down with hefty medical bills. ?
They were overwhelmed by the generosity which gave them a full luxury wedding and more than $60,000 in less than a week.
Final wish: Nolan Keane, who has terminal brain cancer, will be able to take his fiancee Morgan Carstens to Disney World for a honeymoon after they marry thanks to the kindness of strangers
Proposal: Keane asked his high school sweetheart to marry him at Disney World in November last year
They are using the remaining cash to pay off medical bills.
After the honeymoon the couple will continue in their ambition to enjoy every moment they have left together.
'I understood what it meant when I agreed to marry him,' she told the Sun Times. 'It didn?t matter. We both wanted to always be together, so that's what we'll do.
'The unknown is pretty scary, but we're going to try to take it one day at a time and enjoy ourselves.'
Her husband-to-be added: 'All this support has been really surprising. I?ve loved Morgan a long time before I ever thought of proposing. So for me, this is just long overdue.'
'Getting married is something he?s always wanted to do,' Carstens told the New York Daily News, 'and I feel blessed to be able to call him my husband, for however long that might be.'
The bride and groom: The couple were able to enjoy their dream wedding on March 9
Generosity: Morgan's sisters set up a fundraising page for the couple and it has raised more than $60,000
